A KID NAMED CUDI......

Kid Cudi is another artist that is not afraid to be different which u surely find out threw out this Mixtape. Then concept behind this mixtape is orginal but very much helps the kid get his point accross as his story is played threw the lights of the big screen.Kid Cudi's lyrical ability is above par but wont impress you until you take the time to listen to each bar and take the time to see how his metaphor's are pieced together. But on tracks with features with the likes of Wale' Cudi holds is own on the big beat track of "is there any love" then Cudi follows it up with his different sound right over "cudi Gets". Cudi falls at certain aspects to gain a full concept on certain songs. But Yet, Cudi will grab your attention with lines like "like keep the bapes on so i can see the devil Ice grill me". The things that help Cudi grasp your attention is the fact every song can be felt from real exp. and actual emotions the fact that The Kid is simply being is different eccentric self... so i ask you to give him a try and take a gander at Kid Cudi's new age cleveland sound. So were cudi falls he makes up for in style points as well as above par lyrical ability. So look out for the kid...

Jus laughs...And hilarity...

Bush Takes Another Shoe?? lol

Is lyricism Truely Dead??

Honestly....
Lyricism for the Industry at the moment is dead. Labels have went from looking for artist with complete albums. Artist that can produce at least a 15 track cd/lp/ep/album and 12 of those tracks are dope. Now to get signed all u need is one of 2 things... 1. A Crazy buzz but it has to be marketable so dont go out and commit any crimes to get shine. that doesnt work anymore. 2. Get some catchy hooks. Act like all your songs are commercials. Dont get me wrong there are some artist that are still left that Spit like after every verse i shld say bless you. ((Mos Def, Talib, Common, Lupe)) But as a whole do u hear there music alot?! I mean after there singles drop? And for the idiots I left ppl off the lyrical list those are not all the lyrical artist in the game. But Styles P makes a good foot note:::

JAY ELECTRONICA - STYLE WARS [EP]

Do Not alot allow the name to discourage u from the verbal assualt this artist/producer will lay on a track.... this mixtape has it's highs and lows. Him being good of a producer that he is u cant expect anything less than what u get((PRODUCING "QUEENS GET THE MONEY" FOR NAS)). The southern Mc reminds me of game.... with his southern slang yet has a new york delivery. Jay has the ability to go completely over your head then bring you back to the track so that u can relate to his thug/revolutionary mentality. The EmCee also shows off his brash vocabulary in tracks like "My World, Something to Hold Onto, And Renaissance Man" The cons to this album he comes off as very middle of the pack... there are alot of producers/artist claiming to be real hip hop in the game other than the stamp from NAS' what sets him apart from the bunch.... U be the judge...

Joel Ortiz Brooklyn We Go Hard "Freestyle"...

Most Know nothing of the aftermath signed artist named as Joel Ortiz. This is a nice introduction to most and for others gives even more to back the East Coast Lyrcist. Joel Ortiz may fall to the waistside and never drop a ablum like most aftermath artist but with joints like this they will u have u anxiously waiting to see what happens...

Young Chris - Promise Land.....

As usual young Chris gives u lyrically something to grasp. He is not the most lyrical over head artist but he will paint u a vivid picture of how the former def jam/roc-a-fella artist is feeling at the time. His claim to the top maybe somewhat ahead of his time. But if not to be the best then why do this? correct? Well Young Chris makes his an addition to great songs that wont be heard by the masses... maybe once he rejoins Jay under his roc nation umbrella he will back to where the young gunz left off just solo.... only time will tell.....
